Olivia Song is a British-Chinese producer and founder of Velvet Tiger Productions. A graduate of the National Film & Television School, she brings an international perspective to bold, emotionally resonant stories that connect across cultures.

Her debut feature Deadbeat is currently in post-production. Her work has been supported by BFI NETWORK and recognised through initiatives including FUNNY FEATURES Comedy Talent Lab (2024) and the Raven Eggs Showcase at the Brussels Genre Film Market (2026).

Olivia has worked across the international production Gold Mountain, the upcoming feature from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ang Lee, adapted from C Pam Zhang’s How Much of These Hills Is Gold.

Her films have screened at Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals and received multiple awards. With a growing slate across the UK, China, Norway and Ireland, Olivia develops cinematic, globally minded stories that bridge cultures and champion distinctive voices.
